Well, this dirty blue widget isnt really blue, and of course it isnt even dirty. It is a toner cartridge, more specifically a toner cartridge for my dell color laser 1320c. For those of you who dont know, I’m a big fan of dell. Why? Well, so far over the past year I have bought nothing else but dell products, and have had zero problems with them. It started when I bought my dell laptop, the inspiron 1720, last december for school. It has been a very reliable computer and has earned its keep. I eventually bought a 19 widescreen lcd monitor to attach to my laptop when Im at home, for the dual screen experience. Let me tell you, If you havent tried the dual screen setup yet, it is pretty sweet and would highly recomend it if you spend anytime at all on your computer. Talk about mulit-tasking!
What does this have to do with my dirty blue widget of the day? Well, this led me to buy my dell color laser 1320c, because I was in the market for a good printer. I ended up buying it from dells “slightly used” department and it has been an awesome printer ever since. I cant even think of how many pages I’ve printed off and still havent had to replace any of the toner cartrdiges. It is kind of bulky, but what laser printer isnt? It is fairly quiet and once its warmed up, it prints off pages pretty quickly.
It was fairly easy enough to setup, and when the time comes that I have to replace the toner cartridges on my dell color laser 1320c, I know that it wont be that difficult. It does have have a total of 4 cartridges; black, blue, red, yellow. Of course they use the fancier names for the colors, like magenta and crap like that, but it is basically just the primary colors. And I guess in actuality, this blue widget can get pretty dirty, and if you have ever replaced a toner cartrdidge, then you know what I mean. So, if you’re looking for a good laser printer, I would highly recommend heading over to dell. Just look at their outlet store for the best deals.
